The Wellington Inn sits in picture perfect Nidderdale on the outskirts of the rural village of Darley, close to Ripon and Harrogate. A traditional 18th century Coaching Inn which has retained its character over the years, The Wellington continues to offer refuge and hospitality to travellers and locals, whilst we all keep pace with the 21st century.
A privately run pub restaurant with rooms, you will always find relaxation and comfort, tasty local produce, good beer and fine wine. Chris Monkman opened the Fleece in Addingham back in 2002 (having previously owned restaurants in Pool and Ilkley) and since then, together with the close team around him, has sought to develop the business of providing unpretentious fresh native fare and sharing his passion for food and good service. The Fleece’s popularity spread and The Wellington was conceived. Monkmans, in Ilkley, is Chris’s latest venture where real food can be shared leisurely with friends and colleagues in a relaxed wine bar atmosphere.
